Our unions really a joke.
Instead of helping and protecting the rice bowls of low wage workers, now go PRC find cheap labour to push down the wages further. Simi LJ union????? |

I'm sure if you offer some Singaporean who a deperate for a job they will take a $1.2 k for a start...it's whether NTUC wants to employ or not only the question....no such thing as Singaporean don't want to work
They will come out with some lame excuses... |

He has 'spoken'
Low wages, low income families and education are top priorities: Desmond Choo By Deborah Choo | Yahoo! Newsroom – 20 hours ago Three issues are top of Desmond Choo’s agenda: Low wages, low income families and education. Speaking to media on Thursday during his walkabout at Hougang block 1 where he was accompanied by party members, the People’s Action Party candidate for Hougang said, “As a unionist, issues concerning low wage workers continue to be very central to me. That’s what I’ve been working on even in my daily work as the executive secretary of USE (Union of Security Employees). How are we going to bring up better employment terms, making sure that my workers continue to earn a good wage at the same time with good prospects?” |
