Pump for MR Aqua/Up Aqua OHF Trickle
i have just recently set up the Trickle OHF. Realise there is a pump (as per below) designed to fit nicely with this system. Looks nice, so i just bought it.
After installing it and then i only realised that how is the pump gonna cool of itself when its not a submersible pump? Seems like they have this over heat protection whereby the system will stop if it gets too hot and restart when the temperature is back to normal. Anybody else using this pump as well? Will this mechanism effect the BB in the media. It takes 5 mins for the pump to cool down before restarting. |

I am using it.
when it overheat, It will auto stop. I don't think that 5 mins makes alot of difference, suppose some may died. personal opinion : bb died, will form new bb. Been using for months, ammonia always zero. |
