btw...if i place the pump at that location, is it better than placing directly below the skimmer?

some advise me to place below the skimmer directly. but if thats the case, wont the outflow goes into the pump back again immediately?

i place it this way now so that its like the cannister method...

so wats ur opinion?

er...can leh bro...

anyway..latest update!!

the pump is working!!!! hehehe....just need to tilt at an angle for the air to come out first.now the skimmer is on as well...

question...should i follow the mark "keep water at this level" on the weipro skimmer?seems like nothing is goin into the skimmate section leh....only a few droplets from the burst bubble

For Weipro skimmers, adjust the water level till it is around the O-ring. From then on. keep tuning and experimenting until you can get the best possible skimmate.

See the black line below the skimmer cup? That is the O-ring i mentioned. That is where you should tune the water level to. From then on, just fine tune the level up/down until you get reasonably good skimmate.

thanks for the quick reply,kalib.

alamak...jialat....mine is not up there....how how???
i cant tune it any higher.the valve is fully opened already.

could it be the power of the pump is not strong enuff?

or could it be the placement of the pump?

if i place the pump below the skimmer inlet...will that makes it more powerful?
since the water does not have to travel thru that length of hose...
