hahaha... i have opposite problem... i maintain my kh at 8 but my ca still stay around 520ppm. hope it will drop soon

Hmmm. maybe if i dose Ca to 450-500, then my kH will drop to about 8 too

Time to reduce the pH of my CR.

Basically i dose KH and Mg weekly to maintance them. Last time without dosing, Ca always very high, now back to normal liao.

I think those bro who mentioned before make sense. High kH will have low Ca.. since you increase kH, the Ca should go down.. I'm having the opposite

i set my ph at 6.35. i use rowalith

i thought of stutting down my CR for a few days and manually dose KH and hope that ca will drop eventually. cos my Ca is way too high. do water change and it still at the high side.

I'm using aquamedic media , my Ca seems to be dropping very fast. Will kalk help?

how much it drops per day? and what is your effluent output of ca reading?

I have the same problem with u. My tank seems to suck more KH than Ca. I am using Aquamedic CR1000 w Aquamedic media. Off my CR due to high Ca. Ca last measure 1 week ago was 500ppm with KH at 6-7.
