how much u spent on the setup? thinking of getting a new tank n do a proper setup for mine. but having quite limited space.
hi Schmike bro, the tank is a 2.5ft cube tank... the cost of upgrading is about $130

Half a bag of Organic Compost $3
9 bottles of Silicon $40
1 Dischidia $8
1 Vreisea Red $12
10 Fern Panel $18
Other Misc about $49
Total about $130

if u've limited space den the only way to go is up... meaning build it tall and not long... had the idea of getting a used 3ft tank, turn it on its side and u'll have a 3 ft tall tank and 1.5 by 1.5 ft or 2 by 2 ft wide tank... of coz u gotta build the "Door" urself...

how would u use the chiller if it is working ?

I assumed the "pond" is quite small for chiller to work effectively (keep going on and off)

well the pond area or water height is about 7-9in and considering its a 2.5ft cube tank so its about 32x32x7in or 32x32x9in which is about 28.03gal or 36.04 gal... so it should be sufficient for the chiller to work as its a CL650 which can be used for a 4x2x2ft tank set with sump...

I did try the chiller out for about 2 weeks, I connected the outlet hose of the cannister filter to the inlet of the chiller and the outlet hose of the chiller to the tank
