This banned in Singapore is really puzzling. Some animals banned here, are not endangered. So what constitute being in the banned list? Darn.... else i want sugar gliders as pets.

I guess the garment is afraid of people who buy these non-native animals just to set them free in our nature reserve or parks or reservoirs. Or ex-pet owners doing the same when the pets prove too demanding.

Our way of "control" is usually a blanket ban, I've observed: some people stick gum on train doors, ban chewing gum. Some people set blood worms free in reservoirs, ban live red blood worms.

The problem is handled by temples and pond owners right now. Must wait until Bedok reservoir is overpopulated with them.

LOL!

Judging at what is happening in China with 90% of the ebicycles missing, I think a ban is not necessary. The e-bics will probably go missing or be damaged by bored teens during the school holidays. The problem will be solved on its own.

As for a blanket ban...., cannot lah. Mode of transport for some leh. "Want" they can ban. "Need" they will think of a better solution.

I am just generalising.

Speaking of banned animals. This guy always turns up to tan at the swimming pool on Sundays where I bring my kids for lessons.
