Default Sinking Pellet

Hi,
Just wondering any bro out there know how to solve this problem? I bought a packet of Hikari sinking pellet to feed my oranda. The problem is they do not sink even after I soak them in water. Any solution? Tks

Do the packet stated as sinking pellet or floating pellet. So far never experience sinking pellet don't sink.

Hi,
Found from Hikari website it is floating pellets, sigh . Guess I have to squeeze out the air from each pellets after soaking to make them sink.

Normally goldfish adapted to any food easily. Maybe give your goldfish more time, I believe it will eat those floating pellet.

Hi,
They are eating but I read that eating floating pellets can cause SBP in GF.

Hi,

There is no concrete evidence that floating pellets can cause SBD. Feed in moderation and give them a veriety of different food for healthy and decent growth.

My personal experience is floating food does seem to cause SBP. I have no SBP problem when I changed to sinking pellets.
