just check the eheim series and based on how many times flow rate turnover you need and there goes the model you need.
also take into future bioload.. go for 1 model higher than your calculation |

Ehiem Ecco may not be strong enough. Have you consider 2 canisters if space is not an issue? 1 canister at each end will be good. I used various brands of canisters before. Atman is good - quiet and affordable. If can use 2 canisters, keep your Ehiem Ecco and just get another Atman one will do. Just my suggestion

what occupants are inside and what is your intended wc regime?
You can consider running two filters. |

Bro y not u change to a OHF instead of additional canister or upgrade to another single canister? If u go for OHF stackable volume n better option of filter media's as well. Comparing two canister running, electrical consumption higher then a single powerhead pumping water up the trays. Price wise two canister more ex than a OHF Mr aqua + ehiem 1260. Cheaper option u can buy atman series or fluval sp series. But if really die die need to go for canister option then best is go for biggest volume of media's u can store in the canister ")
