Elephant ear enquiry

Got an elephant ear few months ago, find out that it grow one more mouth today, is it normal for them to grow one more mouth? Or growing of one more mouth is a sign of splitting?

sometimes it grows one more mouth just to facillitate feeding but if it starts to show signs of tissue restructuring and looks as if it is growing into two seperate entity then u can be sure that it is splitting. guess u just have to wait and see =)
