do the female or male keep the eggs in thier mouth?
as 1 of my pair has orangy stuff in its mouth tat looks very similiar to eggs

nope.

They dig a sand pit and lay the eggs there.

After months of break.. the female spawned again this morning. Best thing is... I witness the fertilization process for the first time !!

same as my bristle nose pleco.. after 2 yeards of waiting the young are spawning now..

Nope, I didn't record any clip when I saw that this morning.


Anyway, here is an update - male guarding the eggs.
