Get from TP69 or C328
Their species labelling/pricing more honest

Not exactly new setup. Had already setup new setup a mth ago.

Just happen my fren told me this fish is beautiful, and i started reading the Great Mahseer thread. Did some research and found out this fish is REALLY beautiful. This is the type of fish i would probably nvr take any interest in, but somehow it crawl into my mind now. Now kena poison, thinking of getting a red if cld find 1.

Anyway really curious how it wld look like when it grows up, therefore brought 2 pcs. Wld be really nice to join my Plecos, rays and African Tiger Fish in my 422.

Still have a lot to learn fr you guys, especially the ID portion. Cheers.

Thats quite some space for swimming - nothing better than happy fishes swimming.

I see you have some good size of golden mahseers. Are they about 5 to 6 inches?

Depends on the size of the aro during introduction and the level of the individal aro's aggressiveness. I would say a 50-50 chance of success.

The smallest is close to 5", the largest is only 'bout 7".

Wow that's some rare sizes. Did you get em at that size or did they grow to that size with you? I have mine at around 5plus inches after 5 months from abt 1 inch.

Got most of them at about 3" +- four months back. This bunch of 'hungry ghost' can whack a full pack of Hikari medium sized wheat germ in two weeks. However, if you should move them to new environment, be prepared for up to two weeks of fasting (especially for blues).

You're doing very well too. Close to 1" growth per month. Dunno whether growth rate will slow down or not after reaching certain size?
