i used to have those fishes. could check out my thread. i put them up for sale before..no one was interested so i passed them to my uncle who put them in his pond.. i passed them over at about 14-15 inches.. i think it really depends on luck, if rear from young there is no need for chiller. like some brothers here who kept sturgeons till big sized, the need for chillers might not be needed. my two guys were in fact one of the easiest fishes to keep! they were in a 4 footer with only a bubbler( those at lfs) filtration and weekly water change of one pail. no problems for me

QH still have these fellas stocked now. About 8 inchers which is a good size but they do need cold water to thrive and as far as I know, only live feeders. Can grow into 4 ft monsters so think carefully b4 buying Their striations are nice when young but grow to be greyish to be older as typical of NA predators.

wow this will truly be another amazing monster fish to keep in the aquarium! in US big trouble to play with these, just like channa here also.

bro Gigas, you saw northern pikes in QH? how much are they selling it at 8 inches? i think 8 inches are more stable to keep might consider.
