Thanks bros. Yeah, they are a pleasure to watch after a hard day's work. Good thing is that its near my dining table and kitchen sink so can watch when eating and washing dishes. price wise I think there is a range.

Default New Tank

Decided to post a short update to this thread - i have changed the tank from a 7x1.5x2 to a 4x2x2.5. Decided to have more tank height for the altums to grow into.

Unfortunately with the deeper tank, a pair of the discus decided to make themselves at home at the back - which makes it difficult to take pictures. Possible reasons: 1) Deeper = Darker = more comfortable 2) I have cut the discus population down to 3 given the shorter length. Recommended is at least 5. 3) Possible pairing????

Also added 6x cupidos from bro Jon-san. His comes with a nice orange red coloration.

Comparing the new cupidos to the old wavrinis. Basically, the spot above lateral lines = cupidos, below = wavrinis.

Crowded tank bottom shot.

Some pictures of the 2013 Altums... hopefully with the additional tank height, they will grow tall! Now left with 5 of them... lost one after he banged tank wall and mouth couldn't close back properly.

Altums and friends - notice the discus in the background.
