For my case, 1 week solved my problem. You just have to monitor based on your severity. If you have a lot, you can split your light period into 2 session to prevent your plant from dying (eg 1hr in morning and 2hr at night). Reason behind is plant are more resistant to lack of photoperiod than algae (unicellar). Important thing to make the whole thing work is to keep nutrient low (nitrates), this could be done via more frequent water change

Sigh, my hair algae is entangled too much to fissiden. Every brushing brushes off my fissiden too. Decided to remove all the fissiden from my bogwood and treat it before tying to the wood. Currently giving it a blackout or at least minimum light, hiding under my stand in 2 tau huey tubs. Gonna experiment it with baxter's algae away. Will see how it goes. should i wc the tubs everyday?
