Wow i see kk,panda, wine red kept without soil yea i m interesed also how you maintain your water parameter? How often you change water?? Seem like they are having sponge filter only? From the way i see you make keep shrimp so simple and straight forward
What is your tap condition? You use Full RO water?? No additive to your water? |

Oh i forgotten to welcome you and thanks you for sharing but look like you hold back on information regarding how you kept them that way despite it is against all the NO NO fact of keeping this baby. I must say a little misleading will create a uproar of people thinking since a breeder since 2006 have been doing that all this while why can't we do the same here. So will very much appreciate if you could share or enlighten here how is it possible with all the NO NO fact . Thanks

First my water parameter for keeping shrimps : pH : 5,5-6,5 GH: 3 KH :2 NH3/NH4 :0 Nitrat/nitrit: 0 Temp: 24-26C @all: thx, the keys for making your shrimps healthier is make a lot of O2 Dissolved, and temperature about 24-26C pH of your water can be decreased by the proces of bactery metabolism cycle. Why I use sponge breeding filter not Canister? The answer is : sponge breeding filter make more oxygen and became a good bacterial house. canister make u feel that ur water is clean but the truth is the more often you change water, the waster your shrimps will grow, reproduce....( because more oxygen, makes them more easy to moult) I make my own water additive that called Super Aqualife, its coauntain micro macro elements and some beneficial bacteria. Why i love plain tank? Because when using a soil, you will never know when the soil cannot hold your parameter, and when the amoniak is cumulated in the bottom of soil it will spike and make your shrimps death Sorry of my bad english....hehehehehhe |
