Masheer/Kelah Fans fall-in here!!!!
Hi all...wanna sort of 'promote' this under-rated magnificent fish.Its malaysia national fish and is banned frm exporting out of malaysia.Anyone lsle here keeps masheers? pls post ur pix in this thread!!!! After 1 hour of camping in front of my tank and camoflaging myself,pretending to be a rock, I managed to snap this pictures of this fast, non-stop swimming Red kelah !!!cheers!!!

Used to keep them one of my fav fish! But I think mine was the common $15 type kelah not red type.

Nice photos. Used to keep some red kelahs till they grew too big and hv to sell it. By the way Kelahs eat pellets, SW and even small lonkang fishes. Be careful as they are strong jumpers and heavy close fitting lids is a must. Also, they panic quite easily.
