Hi guys, new to the Kelah. Never come across to my mind that this fish is so beautiful until reading through this discussion. Saw a couple of piece on sales in the LFS, can't control and bought them.
Might need help to ID. Is this a green kelah?? |

Nice fish you have here tidatu. I dont think its a kelah. i ever own these before but cant remember the name off-hand now - its some kind of turpedo shaped silverish barb with a black line across its body for juvs.

They grow up to almost 2ft in the wild.
(Yes, I've had the humble experience of feeling them at the end of a line) Largest one I was able to raised in an aquarium was about 14". Some time back they were even sold as feeders! |

I got it in Pasir ris fish farm. The stall near to the prawn fishing, the location also sell marine fish. Quite far in, near to tropical.
