how to connect cannister to chiller?
i'm using eden 501 with biohome and stock sponge (pump is 300l/h)
just bought a hailea hc 100a 1/20hp (reccomended flowrate is 200-1000l/h) the 501 tubing is 9mm in diameter. is it possible to connect it to the chiller? or do i have to get a bigger diameter hose? if inlet i put a 501 to push the water in , and outlet i put another 501 to suck it out will there be any problem? thanks. |

Don't think the 501 was ever meant to be used with a chiller.

you would end up with higher electric bill.. the eden 501 filter flow rate would be greatly reduced too..
it will be better if you upgrade to a filter at least 500l/hr.. my 2cents. |
