Another owner - welcome. Second pic doesnt look like a gold mahseer to me though, looks more like a barb.

By the way, The first piece mouth and snout doesnt seem like gold mahseer too. I think i saw a faint black lateral line? FYI, blue kelah looks gold too. You may refer to my first thread pic indicated as Tor Putitora (Golden Mahseer)

many red kelahs supposedly special import from Pahang : 1" juvs @ $25 each
also one 2" blue kelah but owner says is golden mahseer at $50 also one piece of 2" Indian mahseer at $50 those who want to try rearing these juvs to adulthood can go check it out. provenance & reliability of the breed/identity is a bit difficult for me to ascertain. |
