Yeah, they do look like a danio. Very interesting. Have not seen this type before.

Won't the silvery scale left behind pollute the water? I got problem when feeding feeder koi as quite alot of scale floating around after that.

Their scales are pretty fine but I can't really say whether will pollute the water or not as I don't use them as feeders..They just look very nice swimming in a school...

Giant Danio
i kept a few before for around 3-4 weeks they will colour up to slight bluish yellow, but not very contrasting |
