In summary, what was Amos Yee investigated, charged, held in remand, sent for psy treatment, jailed, etc, for?

What is it that so many ppl hates him for?

If it was religious matter, than why are some ppl who were twice his age not charged? Remember
Quote:
Mr Jason Neo, 30, had posted a religiously and racially offensive caption to a photograph which he uploaded on his Facebook page.

The posting showed a photo he had taken of a school bus with Malay children from Huda Kindergarten, in Woodlands, dressed in their uniform which includes traditional Malay headwear.

His caption said: 'Bus filled with young terrorist trainees?'
Quote:
Mr Cheng posted a four-line comment online, which suggested killing the children of terrorists “in case they grow up to take revenge”
Why are these 2 jokers not charged?

Is it because, those individuals who hates Amos Yee, fully takes one side, to what the PAP gov says and what the newspapers says, and that because Amos Yee is a kid and can be bullied? While the other 2 are adults and these same individuals dare not say much about them? Is this some hypocrisy?

Personally, i think it's coz he is adamant and shows utter contempt of everyone ard him and thus was judged more harshly compared to other case where people do the sensible thing and express remorse.

Please, ask him to stay there and only come back after he change his residency.

http://www.asylumist.com/2016/01/06/...ant-of-asylum/

For an asylee (a person granted asylum), the U.S. government can terminate asylum status if it determines that the person has “voluntarily availed himself or herself of the protection of the country of nationality or last habitual residence by returning to such country.” This means that asylum can be terminated if the person placed herself under the protection of her home government by returning to her country (or even by using the passport from her home country to travel to a third country). USCIS can also terminate asylum status if it determines that the person is no longer a refugee (for example, if country conditions have changed and it is now safe to return home) or if it determines that asylum was obtained fraudulently (there are other reasons for terminating asylum, as well). A return trip to the home country could trigger one (or more) of these bases for termination.

Even with a green card, USCIS can terminate asylum for the reasons listed above.

As a kid, his words and actions has little impact.

The words of both Jason Neo (former Youth PAP) and Calvin Cheng (former NMP) carries a lot moer weight and provocation. Both of them were double AY's age at time of offence. BUT they were not charged!!! WHY? The public were not responding much to these two either.

I'm not saying who is right or who is wrong but the extend and consequences on these 3 names were vastly different.

Doesn't matter AY was adamant about it, the more attention he gets, the more he does it. He returns by feeding the attention providers with more.

Think is the intention. The above 2 probably has some 'hatred' against the terrorist that cause them to utter words that should not be said. They later feel remorse and apologize and if not wrong they escape with a 'Warning' from police. As for AY's intention I am really not sure, insulting people's religion (for the fun of seeking attention and joke I supposed) continuously posting video despite warning, even prefer jail term than probation....really don't know what is he trying to prove. The law really don't know how to deal with him except jail term. I supposed they are most happy as he is gone now.

Now he is able to get out of Sg and he should be happy as he has all the freedom of speech in the land of human rights. Just hope that he grown up and stop all the provocation as I know though in US they preach human rights they also very particular about racist comments of blacks and white, gender equality. Hope he refrain.
