Where to buy young adult Moba?
Hi Bros, can anyone share info where to buy young adults? I bought young ones from a shop but like to acquire some at least 6 inches and above ones. Many thanks.

bro no offence, but there is no such thing as young adult mobas.. if they are adults and of breeding size and age, they are definitely not young anymore.. right now it is quite hard to find adults, but if you don't mind slightly smaller ones and not so particular about their source, you should be able to easily get sub adults at about 4-5inch (:
all the best in your search (: |

Thank you fro the info. I am a beginner and still reading as much as possible as I love the colour of the fish. Do you know of any books in this type of fish? And when the fish is adult how many years before they mature?

as for books, you can try the one by ad konings's Back to Nature Guide to Tanganyika Cichlids.. but there are still alot of others around and the easiest and fastest is to search online for info (: females can mature as early as 2years and for males it takes usually around 3-4 years of age.. if you gauge by size, the females are normally around 7inch and the males too, but size is only a rough estimation as sometimes u can have a young fish that is big in size or an old fish that is small in size.. I think I went to the same place Farmway 2 No 22. looks like he is the only one importing the fish. Very nice colour, but with a big price tag.

there are definitely other ways of getting the fishes too (: and it's the same thing that applies everywhere, good fish = bigger price tag ): a sad fact.. especially with so few people bringing the fish in now.. the only way is to mass buy and ask for discount (: haha

you know ah, the irony in our local fish scene...
if fish too cheap no one buy... the moment the same fish increase in price, to the extent of losing arm and leg, then everybody will be looking for it...
