Yeah,...

I tried many ways of taking aro with my DC,.. one of them is using tripod,... but havent try using flash,.. perhaps will try later,.. when my aro getting better...

Nah, your long barbels very nice one, my experience on golden aro, it'll be much different between use or not use the flash light for a fully grown golden aro.

Check out my latest gallery....

these are taken using flash..

The colors are the same as when I'm viewing the fish sitting in front of my tank.

I think the flash distance is also important factor to consider...

Use flash and up the shutter speed to 1/1000 - 1/2000..
U can capture the sudden movements of the aro...
