Which Eheim canister for 1ft cube planted tank
Going to setup a 1ft cube planted tank.
Planning to use the Ehiem canister for this tank but not sure which model to go about. There are 2 Eheim Classic in my mind. One is the Eheim classic 150 and the other one is 250. Will the Eheim Classic 250 too strong for 1ft cube? Thanks |

why not try eco pro range? not too strong and saves on wattage.

Bro i think 150 classic is enough for a 30cm cube tank(27liter). 150 can discharge 300l/h which is more than 10 times ur tank volume

Chances are if we follow the recommended amount of media the flow rate should be okay, think the problem usually starts when we decide to get kiasu and cramp the whole canister with media.

Have to agree on that too. The 2211 can put up to 1L of media while the 2213 is 3L.
What I concern is just the flow rate from the 2211 because it only have 330l/h while 2213 is rated at 440l/h As this is my 1st fully planted tank therefore not sure what flow rate should I have in the 1ft cube. |
