Yeap, they are put in a hatchery and the hatchery is in the tank they parents reside in. Same water parameters, i am less worried. All my fries will stay in the same water para till a certain size, when i am sure that they will survive.

Actually, i think not that many people keeping macs due to the price(probably). But of course i hope to see the interest grow here. Adult pairs are too costly, fries are unsexable if too young. Bonded pairs are hard to get, not to mention breeding pairs. Haha, but it's all fun being able to breed this species! I am hoping to set up one 3 tier 3ft tank in my room over the next few weeks to let my fries grow. If my landlord allows that is.
