Yos...

Bro the ocean free got a powder which i suspect is dimilin, to use the product we had to pour the powder in the solution shake it hard before introducing it into the tank.
I had already hunt high and low looking for dimilin it a control product can't sell openly in LFS.

You got lobang?

This one I think not anchor worms.
It happens to only one of your Arowana and not all correct?
And it always around the tail region or barbels?
Its the fish itself having some skin issues plus less than optimal environment and that particular area of your fish in contact with the tank walls, pipings while swimming.
One of my Arowana always will exhibit this symptoms also.
Whenever I neglect cleaning the tank walls for two weeks, the stringy things will appear again.
Getting rid is not easy.

But if you want, get dimilin or waterlife Parazin P.

You got lobang?
The product explanation is very very confusing.
You are suppose to divide the content of the big bottle into four equal dose. Then add a bottle of the small one in each dose...

Yours looks like the edge of the tail slowly being eaten away by parasite or rotting more to anchor worms?

Waterlife parazin P is confirm ray safe.
I have used two consecutive cycle on my arowana with rays inside.

Formalin (waterlife myxazin) is also ray safe .... surprisingly.
I used it to get rid of the stringy thing on the body.

The problem with premixing is with the effectiveness.
If it can be premixed, then why didnt they do it for us?
Why do they still divide the dose into 4 smaller bottles?
I didnt use a spare container, I misunderstood the instructions and use wrongly

Until I clarify with QH.
But I switch to waterlife already.
But do note, waterlife parazin P comes into two versions.
I got the stronger one.

@ Itchy
Yes, that area will slowly waste away, even the scales infection with the stringy thing will slowly chipped off.
