Another thing I observed is that they don't seem panicky when you film them, mine still darts around whenever I approach!!! |

No chiller, but I have a fan blowing for 14 hours. I have try to keep those green, gold and orange laser, but none can survive in my tank. :-( Thanks Bro. Mine next wish list is the Vene, hopefully can get big 1, but have to wait for my new cories to settle down before putting in new 1. |

Got more than 15 pieces if peru gold and green laser when I first started cory keeping. None of them left now. Hence, keeping dupli now. Just started feedin them frozen blood worms and hopefully they can take it after a long period of pellet diet.... Don't wanna suffer anymore casualties le... Keeping some tetras and plecos as tank mates too.

Although its a pity without having these few cold water cories in the tank, but the rest of the cories that does need a chiller still looks adorable together with some other small fishes. To me its a perfect tank.

Very true, I bought many batches or gold, green laser non of them survived. Interesting thing is when u buy in LFS u could see that no chiller is used too. Fact is, for laser copies, they don't die fast without chiller, they just fade away after few weeks or at most in my experience, 2 months longest.
Without chiller, for below copies, Concolor, bronze, sterbai, dupli, panda all going bigger n fater especially Concolor it's high fin higher n higher like carrying a flag lol. |

Apart from chiller required cories, for wild cories too. Dedicated expert care will be required for wild cories, for me most wild that I bought not that strong, either they not eating much from the first day n die after months or they just color fade but didn't die.

Actually these cories dont really need a chiller, just ensure you quarantine them properly will be fine for them, and dont mix old and new ones unless you do a proper quarantine for the new ones first...
WIld Cories carries alot of unwanted stuffs with them.. |
