It's always reaction rather than proactive. Similar to the e-scooter problem.
How can the regulator and companies not anticipate the problems. This is the fundamental of a good organisation to anticipate the problems or issues that will arise when a product is launched. |

this problem also reflects badly on the bike renting population's behaviour ...
i am ashamed of the many instances where singaporeans are caught dumping bicycles into canals and even thrown from high rise buildings do we always need rules and regulations to behave properly ? |

Newspaper mentioned a Tall Man (aka professor) said a bike is utilized 30 mins per day in average..

On one hand city planners hope for carless future, these bike schemes and autonomous cars are part of that future.
On the other hand, only the riff raff and rolling stones need such bike schemes at the moment. So we get monkeys using them mostly.
