10,000K light temp suitable for plants?
Is 10,000K light temp suitable for planted tank? Today buy 2 units of 18 watt PL bulb for my Jebo light set and notice its 10,000K, a bit bluish the light, dunno suitable or not, anyone can clear my doubt? If i nv read wrongly, ppl say tat 6500k is suitable am i rite?

6500K, 8000K and 10,000K are suitable.

The colour temperature is more of a personal preference.
Anything between 6,500K to 10,000K should be fine! |

10000k lights are suitable but less intense than 6500k.
someone had described 6500k to noon sun whereas 10000k to evening sun. |

can ask if those Pl lamps sold in the supermk, nearer the 10k or the 6.5k range.
they r labelled as daylight only. i am using those pl lamp type at the moment. thnks |

yes, Terence. technically, intensity is measured by lumens but the lower the kelvins (warmer), the higher the lumens
