Just Sharing my Fish List
After many months of the death of my female Channa Barca, finally found another female at 20in. Been offered a couple other C. Barca, but they were all juvenile 12-13in (not even sure male or female) and they were far too small for my current male at 24in. When I was given news that this 20in female has arrived, I dropped everything and went to collect with Bro Mat who was kind enough to accompany me. First sight was, this female was still too small for my male (he killed my previous female which was at 26in and very broad). So I was not too keen, but the fish was already in so bo pian, just take lor. I was contemplating how to do this now... should I put her in another tank, or take the chance to see if the male will attack it or not? When I reached home, I decided to give it a shot. Worst to worst, remove her lor if they end up wrestling like mad. So I ended floating her for 12 hours, so that the male can get use to her a bit and reduce the chance of a death match again.
