Thanks bro, well i put in a total of almost 300 wild cherries/malayan shrimps but i only see a few pieces among the plants once in a while.. probably small number of them survived by hiding among those dense stem plants..

Bro, don't waste your money with any more shrimps as algae crew when you have discus. Been there, done that, waste of money.

The shrimps just hide and are not able to do their job properly meaning the areas where you can see algae won't be cleaned. Those that come out end up being food.

very nicely done up. like the colour contrast of the live stock and background. Just a question, how you prevent your shrimps from going into your canister?

Some updates... noticed my fx5's flowrate has been dropping so decided to take it out for a wash.. Those poo/debris stuck among the filter/media shocked me..

WC after Fx5 is fixed back again.. did spew quite alot debris into the tank..

Angle shot after WC.. right now my rotala green is super messy.. might replace them with ludwigia brevipis(the red stem plant beside those rotala)

Glosso, so much easier to get a carpet compared to HC.. this is just after 2 - 3 weeks after planting.

my staurogyne repens, They don't seem to spread though..

Below pictures are some of the fishes in my tank.. quite alot in fact..

male and female german ram..

female

Corydoras hasbrosus.. cute fellas..

Dicrossus filamentosus
