Last time I use lards. I fried big pieces and use the pieces and oil when frying a very unhealthy version.

Nowadays I use only vegetable oil.

The other doc, Leslie Tay I think his recommendations are reliable, top 5 are all good stalls. Not those two good and mix with others.

Hv not try the one at Tiong bahru buy if good i will hv another choice in town.....meanwhile will still stick to my fav Outram Park too CKT

yesterday tried the one at Beo cresent , dry type not bad, but $3 only 4-5 mouthful, and only 3 piece of lup choong

Go try Hai Kee at Telok Blangah Crescent hawker centre la. $3 value for money portion but no lup Cheong hor.
Open from 5pm to 9pm Mondays to Fridays. This guy frying CKT from after NS till now. He's 60+ already.
Always remember the old days when I was in NS and his store was at Margaret Drive hawker centre, he was an OMO superman, fry run to serve at individual tables, collect plates, fry.....
Btw was told by him he was out for a few months last year due to double knee cartridges replacement surgery from over 40 years of running and standing to fry CKT.
