Like what u said, the grant given need to pay interest when selling off the flat cos that grant was put inside yr cpf acc..
I use my own money in cpf they oso wan charge me interest...

Scenario:
I got 10k in bank generating interest every month..
I need money so I took out the 10k and use..
5 years later, i wanna put a 10k back inside the bank..
i dun see the bank asking me to put in the 10k + my 5 years interest for the 10k..

They not just wanna earn... they wanna suck...
make sure suck until all dry dry that kind

I remember I balloted in1993/4 for Mei Ling Street EA at $145k brand new from HDB, didn't get.

One year later or after 4 more ballots which I didn't get, managed to secure a 5A from HDB at Clarence Lane that costed us $267,800.
