My 1st Paludarium.
1st time have this kind of setup. Quite fun and...squeezing my brain cell about the plants. The tank below is 4ft long x 2ft heigh and 1.5ft depth. Then I was just took another 4ft tank. Cut off the front glass. Turn it upside down. (To be the cover.) Get the Edge Protectors for 4 of the corners. 4 pieces of rubber at the back to support the weight of the tank. Then glue with silicone.
Gonna get the acrylic as doors and few more lighting. After that, will get some bog wood and the plants which would like stronger lighting on top. Then, will get a snake in.... pls feel free to comments on my setup. (1st time setup. please help me to improve.) |

very very nice!!! but i find that the plant floating on the water(spiralis?) makes the setup look a bit messy. why not try frogbits?
