Default New Flowerhorn in Dubai

I'm new to the hobby and picked up this guy from a local fish store that imported him from. Thailand. Want to get your opinions on him. He's about 5inches and looks quite good in my untrained eye.

Been feeding him XO Happy Head and Ever Red for a few weeks now. What else can I do to help grow its hump?

I keep him in a 65gallon tank with a twin external canister filters and change water at least once every week to make sure water quality is never compromised.

I'd love to hear your opinions and tips. Thanks!

Very nice fish, looks good
Do you plan to buy some more fish?

Hello! I've always had a pet fish while I was growing up and it's hard to kick the habit out lol.

Here are two photos to show the growth progress of my flowerhorn. It has been almost 3 months since my last post and I've noticed he has grown quite well. Im feeding him 5 different pellets and shrimps. Appetite is really good and my favorite thing about him is his friendliness. He loves to be handled!
