Complete setting
Hi Hi dear all.....
This is where & how i place the cooling system on tank 40" x 9" x 10", With digital themostat, set temp. cut off at 24oC..... Friendly speaking DIY is not cheap. But I am satify with the design, built, temp & most importance is save my space.... Here by many thanks to bro ( Silane & Xtrekker ) for suppport & guideline.... Ok, now let work out some of the costing of this DIY set..... 1. Heatsink ($20) 2. Cooling plate or prode ($10) 3. Peltier ($25) 4. Fan ($10) 5. Screw ($5) 6. Cable ($5) 7. Thermal paste ($2) 9. Themostat (Is yr wish) 9. Power supply unit 12V - 8.5A ($60) 10. Isolate foam ($2) 11. Wire tape ($1) 12. Anodising (Freshwater use) ($30) 13. Anodising (Marine use) ($55) Above costing is estimated only (may be more or less) U may have lobang on above mentioned items (cheaper) TOTAL: $170 Pls help me correct those costing, if u can find it cheaper else where... Cool... Whats the volume of this tank? And the atmosphere temperature and peltier wattage? Cos want to know the cooling ability of this unit other than the cost....

Sorry my friends........ I given the wrong size of tank.....
It should be 40cm x 23cm x 25cm = 23Ltrs Room temperature 29oC Peltier max 75W Had measure the heatsink 35oC..... |

Hard Anodising
I had check with the factory, they said only Hard Anodising will last longer in saltwater..... That why it cost more expensive......
May be the cooling probe can be change to Stainless Steel, then for Saltwater use is better....... I not very sure about it, cos i am using it for freshwater at the moment.... Quote:
