hello all
Hi all,
i intend to convert my 4 by 1.5 by 1.5 tank into a freshwater community tank with cardinal tetras, and some platies and mollies, with some simple plants. Im currently using a OHF system. i do not plan to inject any CO2. with regards to gravel/substrate, is it necessary to clean it? plants like nana do not require CO2 injection? many thanks all. |

my 4 feet light currently has one T5 tube, 40W and my 4 feet tank's capacity is 60 gallons.
that would prob work out to be 0.66 WPG. im aiming for a low-tech set up. is this light good/strong enough for hardy plants? |

Pretty low ... try it first and then supplement? You will also have to use liquid fertilizers.
