Thanks, I will walk there and check it out.

Plant heavier using the same plants, a higher plant mass will ensure that any extra nutrients that is leaked from your substrate will be consume. Thus, there will be a lesser chance of algae.

Hi SaddyBoi,

I think your HC will not survive without chiller. I have a same setup as yours and planted HC, most of it melted in around 2 months and there is no sign of growth for the rest of the surviving HC.

Hello mates! Good to see so many people joining in! My experience with DSM for hc was a hit and miss. My hc starting creeping but got hit by some web like infestation.

With whatever that's remaining, I decided to flood the tank. Added mini nana and floated a stem plant to
hinder algae growth.

Cheers!

Is your mini nana planted into the soil or above soil? I think for nanas, only the roots can be planted, but rhizome must be above soil level.

Fan is fine. More importantly are lights, CO2 and nutrients.

Yeah, it's very encouraging that there has been an upswing of participants recently. Keep us updated about your HC bro! I hope it turns out alright.

Personally, I will get a cannister filter as they are more powerful and better at filtration. Flow rate is very important in a nano tank.

Bro, you have a 1ft cube! That's not hijacking but contributing!
It seems like you took the picture of your scape from the back? Nice ADA tank btw.
