36watt on 2 1ft cube.
hi guys, just need to confirm this once again.
am i right to say that if i use a 2ft 36watt PL on a 2 1ft cube tank(placed side by side) i get 36watt each for the tank instead of 18watt? thanks. |

Well, yeah, on paper you can get exposure from a 36w tube BUT because the intensity at each part of the tube is different and due to loses to the environment, you will get slightly less than 36w.
