Got my 1st piece of pacman yesterday from Ben. Had a nice chat with him.
Some pics:

Acclimatising

Finding a shady spot

In the substrate

Cat is feeding on hikari massivore delight and lionhead sinking pellets already. I think the poison's just gotten into me.

George,

the second fish should behave just the same once it settled down. Glad you like them.

been seeing many fellow hobbyists here having small pebbles and substrate for their pacman...is it a must? would they fare well in bare tank?

it will certainly reduce the stress on the fish if its able to burrowing itself, i presume.
stress induced by on off of aquarium or surrounding lights, or other tank mates if any.

This fish is commonly found in open water with sandy bed. it is natural for them to go under the gravel as they are ambush predator.

I presume you are having a bare bottom set up, you may want to have some small pieces of wood for it to take shelter.

hi,

the pacman is doing the boogie dance i call it, whenever it want to burrow itself under. and yes if you have sand or other substrates you will never get the same landscape, everyday will change and especially noticeable if it's in a small tank. it's just interesting.

currently in taiwan now cld not take ur existing batch
if the future batch are available
let me know...

miss my late pacman...

rem guys, if u go ICT, pls dont feed them feeders.
and don't deep ur hands in unless u wash it super thoroughly with soap and stuff...

the insect repellant/chemical in the uniform( to repel biting insects) will kill even in small amnts i think.

dont take the chance or ur small guys may end up like mine
