Should it be external or internal? Also what brand to get? German or China made?

I dont think alot of shops carry German made UVs. expensive.
Mostly are China made. For 2ft, internal uv filter should be enough. Anything from 5-9 W should do. Brands I know off hand are Hopar and Resin. About $38. You can use external ones too but quite troublesome to set up. Normally attached to canister filter or some kind of pump to drive water through. Hope this helps. |

HI Friends,
Having 4x1.5x2 ft tank with Jebao 104( 1200l/hr) canister setup. Plan to bio-load with goldfish 6 nos Anyone advise good budget external UV filter. thanks Charif |

Did major revamp to get rid of black brush algae, changed aged water container to glass. Plants and fishes stop dying slowly....hope situation will gradually improve
