I had similar problems with a little Endli once, it turned out to be off pellets producing too much excess gas in the little fishy.

Market prawn, blood worms and feeders only. It seems kinda fine now, with only much paler colouring. Hoping that this condition will pass soon, like your endli.

Good luck with your lap bro. Kohaku mentioned it's congicus season now? how to differentiate between cong & endli?

Main way is most Congi will have straight vertical bars.

Sometimes you get low pattern ones, so head shape differs too.

My favorite Congis:
(ignore the coloration of the first, as this is a "black" variant. The second one is the normal color)





If you can get them, do.
I love mine they are pure brutal Dinosours!
