Thanks for this warning, I resisted until it happened yesterday. So far so good, though...
I thought I'd turned off auto-update, but when I wanted to shut down the laptops, the options given all had "Update and xxx", like "Update and Shut Down". Luckily it only happened when they rectified the issue. So I guess I'd auto-download somewhere...? Could someone give me the steps on where to check these? I thought I've checked yesterday but looks like something's still missing. |

Some articles said the problem fixed.
I also postponed the update. Wait and see any more feedback in the coming weeks first. |

Don do the upgrade from Win7 or Win8. Check your board website if it carry the Win10 drivers. If don hv, 2 options only.
Option 1 Don upgrade or get a new board that support Win10 Option 2 Do a fresh Win10 installation and see if Win10 will update the drivers for you. Doing a fresh setup is a very tedious task. But once all the drivers are working, the rest very easy liao. |
