any good brand medication to treat velvet?

hi, any one can recommend any good medication to treat velvet? as my red was infected.

Velvet is a parasite infection. Basically it is contamination. Could be from the equipment u used, fish food or anything that is contaminated and u put inside the tank. This disease is infectious and will spread to the other inhabitants in ur tank.

First u need to isolate the infected fish. Because this parasite requires light to multiply, u need to keep a dark environment. No lights and the best is to cover up the tank. Plenty of aeration.

Finally treat with Malachite Green Formalin.
