CHC The Next Chapter
Ex-City Harvest Church leader Chew Eng Han files police report against 8 others
By Vanessa Paige Chelvan Posted 14 Jul 2016 00:08 Updated 14 Jul 2016 00:26 ENLARGECAPTION 1056 Email More SINGAPORE: Former City Harvest Church (CHC) leader Chew Eng Han, who was convicted last year along with five other church leaders for misappropriating S$50m of church funds, has filed a police report at the Commercial Affairs Department against eight CHC members. The report was against CHC founders Kong Hee and Ho Yeow Sun as well as six other members - including executive pastor Aries Zulkarnian, he told Channel NewsAsia on Wednesday (Jul 13). Chew said he lodged the report for "fraudulent misrepresentation of vital facts about the church which induced me and other members to give our donations", and also for use of funds for purposes other than what was represented to the members of the church, he alleged. "I am only one of many victims of misrepresentation. The focus is not on myself but on what Kong, Sun and (their) team has done to the members, many of whom have left the place,” he added. The Singapore Police Force confirmed that a police report was lodged. "As police investigations are confidential, and the complainant Mr Chew also has an appeal against his conviction and sentence pending adjudication by the Supreme Court, it is inappropriate at this juncture for the police to comment further," it said. The appeals of the six CHC leaders including Chew and Kong will be heard over Sep 19 to 23 this year. - CNA/mz |

This Chew is a bit bo liao.
Anything new in his latest police report. He should gather more info first instead of reporting the same thing. Makes him looks so lack of quality or rather capability. |

Think he was advised, why would he want to go another round of court proceeding?

Maybe he wants to pull down Ho with the rest as he feels since all these happened because of her so not fair that she's allowed scot free.

it will be good for Chew case if he can gather more proof than just firing blanks. Maybe he was buying time only while he gathers info. |

No point buy time. If need to serve time, go in early go in late, still need to serve.
But maybe he is trying to reduce his case as he felt victimised. Many possibility. Wait and see what unfolds. |
