My maternal grandad bathroom had gas heater.
Remember the loud sound of the flames and gas feed "ssssssszt" Scary as a young kid, the white machine bigger than me.

my storage water heater now no hot water use for one year plus only no green/red lights according to Joven (water heater co), that means electrical problem |

Heater need to be activated by flow switch. Something the heater water flow will have problem, etc clogged. Therefore, will not be activated.
