African arowana will spit out food occassionally. I use to keep one till > 1'. At the juvenile size of 2 to 2.5", I would suggest feeding live daphnia instead of frozen blood worms as the blood worms may be too big for them. I never tried frozen daphnia as I was afraid the uneaten daphnia will foul the water. At this sze, they are unstable and prone to death. I would suggest feeding them blood worm when they are about 5 to 6" where they are more stable.

I would also suggest providing fine sand or gravel that they can spit out as AA are filter feeders. You can also provide a sponge filter that they will suck from time to time to extract the filtered daphnia.

bro, can try frozen cycloeeze or the freeze dried form..... if not get frozen daphina.. 1 cube should last him hour plus.... they are too small to take frozen bloodworms now.... when they hit 4 inches bloodworms no problem liao.... another way is take pellets and ground into very small pcs or powder form...... the aa will take too.... but the best is the first 2 i mention...... my comm no casualty from fights and starvation yet

Their growth rate is exceptionally fast when young... provided you feed them 5 to 6 times a day
