Mine is on a pure FBW diet. I believe they can already consume it. It's their natural behaviour to suck up then spit out the food. But if you notice, the next day the worms are always gone. They are CONSTANTLY foraging for food so they'll eventually eat everything.

small and minute food let the aa "absorb" faster..... small aa gotta eat chew spit FBW many many times before he really swallow the worms... hence wasting many energy

i rotate wor...i got many frozens/freeze dried and pellets from my other fish keeping..... 1 day , they get to eat, freeze dried cyclops, FBW, mini pellets, FBS
