Nikon D100
Anyone using it? I am thinking of changing my 300D to Nikon D100 soon. Abit sianz of this camera although takes very nice photo.
Any cure for trembling hands? The more pictures I take, the lousier it gets (wihtout using tripod) I am perfectly fine with a tripod, at least gets clear sharp photos and any kind experts can teach me how to edit the background to white. |

Maybe you can upload some pics. I tried tripots once, and gave up immediately, I never used tripots then.
No rush to change to 100. To me, both are of the same level. Wait a bit longer till better and cheaper DSLR come. |

For those with deep pockets to change cameras as and when they please, the Canon 1Ds would certainly be a good consideration. Have never read a bad review on this baby with the exception of the price.
Then, add 6 X 550EX speedlite with a ST-E2 wireless transmitter and shoot at 1/1000 sec and F22. Brilliant results and trembling hands/blurred pictures will certainly be a thing of the past. Also, you can over expose the background till it's white if you line up the flash 3 in front, and 3 behind. Set those flash behind for flash exposure to +3. This is good for up to 2 ft set up. For each additional feet, add 4 more flash. Recommended lenses for this setup will be: EF 100 mm F2.8 Macro USM EF 28-70 mm F2.8L USM with close up lens EF 70-200 mm F2.8L USM with close up lens Or if you are feeling a bit generous with your budget... EF 180 mm F3.5L Macro USM EF 24-70 mm F2.8L USM with close up lens EF 70-200 mm F2.8L IS USM with close up lens Have fun!! Cheers, |
