2ft update
Please comment on my humble tank!
HC didn't work for me, so I'm going for glosso now. Crypts should grow thicker over time. Should I remove the black background for a better effect? I know, I know, should have removed equipment too. |

Terrence,
Great development. I'm gonna have to nag you about taking proper shots and preparing for them (read: REMOVE YOUR EQUIPMENT) lol. With that aside, i somehow feel it's a really harsh splash of green, and you really need to make your DW stand out more. It will enhance the image of size in your tank. I'd chuck a few moss-on-slates around the base of the wood to do so, leaving the foreground bare and layering it with lapis to give a ncie sharp contrast. Just my 2 cliental cents. Lol |

Thanks guys!
kel1ng, they were most likely emersed. They didn't do very well, or it was something I was doing wrong. Staghorn overgrew all over it, and I decided that it had no chance. Jerome, the wood doesn't stick out because of the furry stuff (blardy algae) growing on it. Still have to work on this tank very much. I'll think about the bare foreground when I get tired of pruning the glosso bluezing, thanks alot. Seems that the black background works. I'll see after the glosso grows in |

love the positioning of the nanas....great job. i somehow feel that the lanky ones (helferi izit??) seems out of place....would hv been better if it's from the LHS of the tank instead of behind the woody.... but tat's just my personal pref......
update us when glosso fills up the foregrd... |

Perhaps the Cyperus helferi was a tad too messy. |

I like it... I also love the algae growing on the DW, I think it makes it look even more natural that way...
